Our team of factories and associates are unified in the understanding of each design’s requirements and provide diverse building materials to suit the uniqueness of each space. If an appropriate or rare material is not immediately available on our website, a timely, but worldwide, search is conducted in order to provide our clients with all available options. Moreover, throughout the life of a project, amayaStone is available for 24/7 support and always remains attentive to our clients’ schedules, understanding that projects can disrupt the normal functioning of both filial and professional life. We thrive on a commitment to excellence that brings to life the passion and imagination of our clients. Qualifications:

Elizabeth Amaya is the founder/owner of Amaya Int'l Corp/amayaStone. Shortly after graduating with a degree in American/International Studies and Political Science, Elizabeth was introduced to the Stone Industry by Malcolm Cohen. A giant in the field (see more details below), Malcolm was a lifelong supporter of the stone industry and the MIA, Elizabeth’s former employer, beloved friend, and mentor until his passing shortly after his 100th birthday in 2013.

With two decades of experience and exceptional relationships with quarriers in the United States and abroad Elizabeth decided to found amayaStone in 2002, knowing its unique philosophy and work structure would make it distinctive in the field. Her hand-selected team of factories and associates embody Elizabeth’s philosophy, whether they have a decade, or multiple-century, history in the marble and stone industry. amayaStone enthusiastically looks to the future to see what is possible and what other horizons can be met in the fields of interior design and architecture.

Contracting:

amayaStone has successfully fabricated and supplied countless high profile projects. One proud example of such would be "The Green", the BASF Headquarters building. It is the first LEED Double Platinum Designated facility in New Jersey, the fifth building nationwide to receive such a certification, and the Largest LEED Platinum Corporate Project in New Jersey. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Double Platinum certification is the highest LEED status a building can receive. The Green, therefore, embodies the highest quality, most expertly planned, sustainable, multi-use environment ever created in northern New Jersey, initially conceived and designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, a world renowned master planning and architectural design firm.
